Tell me why it's January and people are out on the beach in bikini's and board shorts? I'll tell you why, cause we're in freaken California and the weather is amazing. So we went for a nice country drive in the mountains on Monday and somehow we ended up at the beach. I am AMAZED at how many people were out and about soaking in the sun and even more shocked realizing that it's freaken January. I mean really, January! I thought I was crazy wearing capris and a short sleeve t-shirt but when we got to the beach I was the one wearing to much clothes.
This is one of the reasons why I love California, the sun is warm and the mountains are endless. (Trust me there are many reasons why I hate Cali, one being how expensive things are here and another being traffic, but that's a whole nother blog). It's days like today that make leaving California hard to do. CJ and I have been contemplating moving either to northern Cali or out of state, but when we have weather like this it makes it extremely hard not to want to stay forever. Who knows where we will end up, but for now where just enjoying the warm sunshine!

you know.... as nice as the weather was.. i was actually kind of peeved that my winter was cut so short.. one of the reasons why i love california so much is because of the fog.. and wintertime in sf is pretty much me in a candy store.. (oohh.. do you see what i did there?!?)
anyway.. yes.. the weather has been lovely lately... kc and i have been propositioned by plenty of family members of mine to move up to washington state.. even considering how close i would be to Forks.. i still couldn't do it. his whole family is here.. and my heart.. it would seriously hurt being away from ca and san fran.
